Jim and Julie Carroll have re-submitted the same proposal to Allbury Council to construct two single-storey units and one double-storey unit on land in Fairway Gardens Road.
The developers and objectors will get the chance to state their cases at a council-organised community forum.
Mr Carroll is planning to speak at the forum.
His planning consultant, James Laycock from Blueprint Planning, has raised the potential of $50,000 of ratepayers money being required to fight the case in the NSW Land and Environment Court if the proposal is rejected again.
The same proposal was approved in 2007, but the Carrolls didn’t proceed due to the global financial crisis.
Council staff have approved the development, but the recommendation was over-ruled by councillors.
