The event has been organised by Murray Border Association Vietnam Veterans, which invites all veterans and members of the public to attend.
The association said this year marked the 50th anniversary of the 1st Battalion Royal Australian Regiment’s deployment to Vietnam.
The 1 RAR group joined the US 173rd Airborne Brigade at Bien Hoa in June 1965. By September the group was involved in offensive operations. The 1st Battalion received the United States Army Military Unit Citation and the 1st Battalion Group was awarded the Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Citation.
