The star Hawk has been carrying a hip injury in recent weeks, but he’s keen to finish the season with his teammates at the W.J. Findlay Oval.
“I think he’ll want to play,” Rovers coach Paul Maher said.
“I think it’s caught up to him the last couple of weeks.
“We’ll hopefully get him for one more week and then he’ll get a rest.”
It will be Maher’s last game as coach before he steps down after two seasons.
While the Hawks are battling to avoid the wooden spoon, the thirds premiership coach said he was proud of the way his young side had fought out the season.
“The young boys are sore and sorry,” Maher said.
“Hopefully over the summer they'll get in the gym and come big bigger and better next year.”
The Rovers will have faced the top two sides in their last two games.
