In Sunday’s cup finals battle of first versus eighth at Willow Park, Albury City easily backed up their league championship title.
Zoe Jackson was the star on the day, kicking six goals.
Albury City captain, Haley Rickard, said the team had a slow start to the season, but all players are now available and their fitness is starting to show.
“It always comes together for us at the end of the season,” she said.
“It was just a really good team effort, a lot of passing to feet.”
Rickard said she was happy with the win, but did not want to get too cocky about Albury City’s cup chances.
