The players from the Border and as far away as Griffith and Myrtleford will take part in the sport created by Jindera local, Colleen Wilson-Lord, about 15 years ago.
It was originally intended to be the game people can play after they can no longer manage the physical aspects of netball, basketball or football.
The age of players ranges from 35 to 85 and the game caters for all abilities with rules that state every player must touch the ball.
Brian Lord, who wrote the rules for LifeBall, said the six teams will be selected by names drawn out of a hat, but will not actually keep score.
“We laugh a lot, then go home,” he said.
“It’s one of those social events where nobody wins, but everybody wins.”
LifeBall has been played for 11 years by local team, the Albury Falcons.
