The Savoys have promoted assistant coach and goalkeeper Jayden Vescio as co-coach alongside star striker Matthew Park for next season.
The well respected players, who were ticked off at a board meeting on Monday night, replace Joey Artavilla, who couldn’t commit to the role for a second season.
Savoys president Zac Mirt said Vescio and Park would compliment each other.
“Matt’s experienced at playing at an elite level and Jayden’s been a club leader that the boys look up to for a long time,” Mirt said.
“They’re great role models for the younger players that are coming through.”
The Savoys finished fourth in the league championship and made the cup final this year.
But they lost a nail-biting penalty shootout to arch rival Wangaratta.
At this stage, English import Dan Kelly appears the only loss, with the striker set to join the Red Devils.
Mirt said the club was still in negotiations with Arron Redman and Lewis Holloway about returning to Savoy Park in 2016.
“The main focus now is maintaining the majority of the list and adding a couple of new recruits,” he said.
