Kelly-Anne Walsh, 39, denied the charge of aggravated burglary throughout the Wodonga County Court trial.
She was emotional as the “not guilty” verdict was read out by the jury foreman.
The Border Mail can now reveal Scott Martin, the accused co-offender, was the prosecution’s key witness.
In a plea hearing last week, he admitted he was the man who armed himself with a baseball bat to enter an Emerald Avenue home at 4.40am on January 15.
He was sentenced to 18 months jail and 300 hours of unpaid work.
Martin named Walsh as his co-offender, claiming she forced the victim to hand over her OxyContin pain medication.
Barrister Alan Marshall branded the man a drug-using liar who only told police the name of his client to get a lighter sentence.
He told the jury Martin was a criminal who wouldn't “dob in” his real accomplice.
