The home side won three of the four rinks with skip Attila Litkei rating the victory as the club’s best of the pennant season.
“It was a really good win,” Litkei said.
“We hadn’t beaten Wangaratta for a few years.”
Jack Lillis led the way with a 28-14 win over Ian Brimblecombe, Greg Robbins trumped Maurie Braden 28-22 and Lance Symons defeated Greg McDonald 29-23.
Wangaratta gained some consolation with Matt Muller edging out Litkei 23-21.
Reigning premier Wodonga crushed Corowa Services 112-57, Corowa Civic accounted for Benalla 97-80 and Yarrawonga edged out YMGCR 94-91.
