A MAN has faced court on attempted murder charges following a double stabbing at Peechelba.

Thai national Charan Hannarong, 38, was charged on Friday after being dropped at Wangaratta Hospital with stab wounds on November 21.
A woman was dropped at the hospital with similar wounds a short time later.
Police plan to interview Hannarong in coming days.
Detectives had been investigating whether Hannarong allegedly stabbed himself and the woman.
He has also been charged with reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, intentionally cause serious injury, recklessly cause serious injury, recklessly cause injury, intentionally cause injury, unlawful assault and assault with a weapon.
He did not apply for bail during a hearing at the Wangaratta Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
He will return to Wangaratta court for a committal mention on April 7.
