Border artist Marni Korneluk painted hip hop group Hilltop Hoods on a skateboard and organised for the three members to sign it.
She plans to sell the board and donate all the money raised to Seeing Eye Dogs Australia, a charity with a personal link.
“My nan when she was alive used to do a lot of volunteer work for the blind community,” Korneluk said.
A fan of Hilltop Hoods’ music, the artist decided to use a skateboard as a way of trying out different materials.
“I do mainly black and grey pastel portraits and occasionally I'll do a painting,” she said.
The skateboard took about five hours to create, then she sent it off to Hilltop Hoods for signing.
Korneluk’s now working out the best way to conduct the sale, likely to be online.
“At the moment it's just sort of word of mouth and a couple of my friends have shared it on Facebook,” she said.
