The annual tournament, which has been running for more than 40 years, will be played on Sunday, February 28, at the conclusion of the association’s home and away season.
Bungowannah Tennis Club’s Murray Scholz said for many it was a chance for one last hit before “the racquet is mothballed for the winter”.
“The tennis club remains very healthy, largely supported by members living in Albury-Wodonga, who enjoy the relaxed, but still very competitive, atmosphere of country tennis,” he said.
“It provides an opportunity for some solid tennis prior to embarking on the finals campaign.”
The tournament has mens and ladies doubles for all grades of players.
