Dartmouth Dam: is fishing ok but not brilliantly. Fish are being caught deep, down to about 10 metres, trolling with Tassie devils and with worms behind fenders. Plenty of yabbies are still being caught. Large numbers snared around the Eight Mile.
Mitta River: the Mitta is fishing ok but has been steadily dropping. As of March 1, the Mitta is expected to be at the low level of 500 megalitres. This is great news for local fisherman, as it will make the whole stream accessible.
Lake Hume: fishing in the Hume is best described as fair this week. A lot of small redfin are being caught using baits, worms and yabbies. Troll using deep divers.
Murray: is still fishing well, with plenty of cod and some yellas being caught, even down at Mungabareena Reserve and down through Howlong and Corowa.
Blowering and Talbingo: no go at the moment and not worth the car trip.
