With his side in dire trouble at 3-19 chasing 114, Bremner belted 48 off 37 balls to clinch a thrilling victory against Sorrento.
Bremner, who has made first grade scores of eight, one, 18, 16 and zero this season, said it was a huge achievement to play on Australian cricket’s biggest stage.
“We are only a little country club so to get the chance to play on the MCG is huge for us,” Bremner said.
“It was great to get a few after going first ball on Saturday.
“It was always going to be my job to steady the ship if we lost a few early wickets and Matt Armstrong is great to bat with.
