The Raiders split the game open in the second term, piling on nine goals to two to set up the 22.12 (144) to 14.9 (93) victory.

Matt McDonald looked to have lost none of his touch in an extended off-season while Ross Tungatalum also bobbed up with four goals in the Raiders’ first win of the year following losses to Wangaratta, Yarrawonga and Lavington.
Jay O’Donoghue continued his strong start to the season for Corowa-Rutherglen, who matched the Raiders on the scoreboard in the second half.
Lee Schmidt kicked four goals for the Roos, who face Yarrawonga on Sunday.
