The controversial West Indian superstar flew home from the Indian Premier League for the birth of his first child. On Thursday (AEST) he posted a picture on Instagram of himself and partner Natasha Berridge, announcing that she had given birth to a baby girl.

The girl's name: Blush.
That's right. Blush.
For those who have missed the reference, Gayle infamously said to then-Channel 10 sports presenter Mel McLaughlin: "don't blush baby" during an interview in Big Bash League match in Hobart last summer, when Gayle was playing for the Melbourne Renegades.
The incident made international headlines.
Some Indian and Jamaican media outlets had reported earlier that Gayle and his partner had had a son. Fairfax Media has attempted to contact Gayle's management.
