Emergency services responded to the crash at Bruarong about 4.45am on Wednesday.
The male driver, aged in his 40s, received cuts and bruises after rolling his Kia Rio sedan.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being treated by paramedics at the scene.
The car was badly damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the area to Beechworth.
