To honour him, it will be a bittersweet Mother's Day weekend in Wangaratta as she tattoos hearts on mums from as far as Cobram, Adelaide and Sydney.
Miss McMillan, owner of Queen of Hearts Tattoo Parlour, will celebrate her time as a mother, but will also raise money for the Heart Foundation.
“The overwhelming response we've had is just heartwarming, we are booked out,” she said.
“We have five tattooists doing over 100 tattoos on Saturday for gold coin donations.”
