The Liberal Party has failed to provide the Senate with documents relating to a commitment of $10 million for Wangaratta Hospital before the 24-hour deadline demanded by the Greens.

Greens Senator Richard Di Natale moved the motion, which was passed in parliament on Tuesday.
“The Liberals promised good government, but this smacks of blackmail and payback,” he said.
“In the absence of an anti-corruption watchdog, the Greens will get to the bottom of this by compelling the government to produce the relevant documents.”
Indi Greens candidate Jenny O’Connor said she wanted answers before the federal election.
“Northeast Health Wangaratta has missed out on $10 million … they can’t just make this go away,” she said.
“It’s clear (Sophie Mirabella) and the chairman of the board reneged on that.”
