Matt Marshall, Heath Parkinson, Samantha Stevens and Malcolm Collins have all faced court today after police yesterday made seven arrests in a series of drug raids.
Marshall is a former Detective Sen-Constable at Albury police who, in 2009, won a police medal for diligence and professionalism during 10 years of service.
Marshall, Parkinson and Stevens applied for bail today but were refused.
Collins did not apply for bail.
Police yesterday confirmed they had interviewed a former police officer after a series of drug raids that smashed an alleged Albury drug ring.
A large quantity of amphetamine was seized when dozens of police simultaneously stormed homes across Albury at 9.30am.
Police also raided one home in Wodonga — where a firearm was seized and police arrested a man and woman — and another in Sydney.
Albury police chief Supt Beth Stirton yesterday said the arrest of the suspects would have a significant impact on the supply of drugs in Albury.
