Family Vet Centre’s Aimee Hollonds said they had about six kittens at their Albury clinic and five at Wodonga.
“The main thing is to desex and microchip your pets, so we can get them home to where they are loved,” she said.
“We are noticing the season has gone longer, usually kitten season is November to March.
Paddy, the charcoal grey feline, was found roaming the street at 11 weeks old and no one rang to look for him.
“He is just a beautiful kitten and someone may have just lost him,” Ms Hollands said. “But he will go to another good home.”
People looking to adopt one of the kittens can book in for a meet-and-greet.
All kittens have been temperament tested, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, desexed and microchipped.
The centre is also caring for two ginger kittens who were born in foster care with the Albury-Wodonga Animal Rescue.
