Every game’s a big one for the eighth-placed Roos.
With a 3-4 record, Castles’ troops desperately need a victory at Yackandandah on Saturday to stay in touch with the top five.
They could get a boost for the crunch clash against fourth-placed Mitta United with Daniel Cassidy (hamstring) and James Davies (ankle) in line to return.
“Every game means a lot but us and Mitta are fighting for similar spots,” Castles said.
“It’s a tough competition, everybody is beating everybody so we’re not taking anybody lightly, put it that way.”
In other matches, Beechworth’s improved form will face a stern test against Barnawartha at Barnawartha, Chiltern will be looking to get its season back on track when it hosts Wahgunyah, Tallangatta will be too strong for Dederang-Mount Beauty and Thurgoona will keep the pressure on the top five with a big win over Wodonga Saints.
