After dropping their opening four matches, the club has hit back with wins over Border-Walwa and Tumbarumba to stay in touch with the top four.
While the arrival of several recruits including spearhead Matt Jaensch has helped, Ball said team cohesion had been the biggest difference.
“We are starting to work our our own way to play and what works for us and what doesn’t from week to week,” Ball said.
Bullioh is bracing for a tough clash against Corryong at Corryong on Saturday.
“They have a couple of good players and a couple of overrated players, but overall as a team they have been pretty consistent,” Ball said.
“Last time we played we were up by 50 points and lost on the last kick of the day.”
Cudgewa should defeat Border-Walwa and Tumbarumba do battle with top team Federal.
