Falls Creek Resort Management Board chief executive Stuart Smythe said he was on the phone for most of the day on Friday trying to determine how the force would staff the mountains.
A joint letter including Mount Hotham and Mount Buller will be sent to Ms Neville, on Monday.
“Any reduction in the level of service or support than last season would be unacceptable for stakeholders,” he said.
“We are already a high-risk environment.
““We have on average 5000 to 7000 people in our resort each day during winter.
“The remoteness and access in the event of emergency is exacerbated by sheer fact our nearest police station is 50 minutes away at best.
“Something catastrophic during bad weather would be disastrous.”
