The draw for candidates in the race for Indi will be held in the Dick Smith Building in Wangaratta and the Farrer ballot will be staged at a temporary Australian Electoral Commission office established in Swift Street.
The confirmed candidates in Farrer are Liberal incumbent Sussan Ley, Labor's Christian Kunde, Greens’ Amanda Cohn, Christian Democratic Party's Paul Rossetto and Australian Liberty Alliance's Ron Pike.
Ms Ley holds Farrer with a comfortable margin of 21.7 per cent.
In comparison, Indi has 10 candidates.
They are independent incumbent Cathy McGowan, Coalition duo Sophie Mirabella and Marty Corboy, Labor's Eric Kerr, Greens’ Jenny O'Connor, Country Party's Julian Fidge, Liberal Democrats’ Tim Quilty, Rise Up Australia’s Vincent Ferrando and independents, Alan Lappin and Ray Dyer.
Ms McGowan has a 0.3 per cent hold on Indi heading into her second election.
Pre-poll voting will commence on Tuesday with locations to be announced on Sunday.
