Tonight students from Walla Walla’s St Paul’s College take the stage to perform Footloose The Musical.
Drama teacher Jessica Hannon said they chose Footloose to attract a crowd and a sing-along.
“We wanted something fun and something that the students could really get involved in,” she said.
“This year has been our biggest cast with more than 50 students involved from performing on stage to helping with the sets, props, tech. That’s not too bad for a school of around 270 students.”
The show opened Thursday afternoon to their first crowd of primary school students.
“The matinee went really well,” Miss Hannon said.
“We have students from years 7 to 12 and some have never performed before which is really exciting.”
