But Albury co-coach Shaun Daly is hearing none of that ahead of Saturday’s clash against Corowa-Rutherglen at Albury Sportsground.
The Roos led the reigning premier during the third quarter when they clashed in round three and Daly admits his team was shown up before it charged home in the final term.
“They have four players who have played for the O and M rep side either this year or previously and they have a young list who basically showed us up for three quarters last time,” Daly said.
“One thing about Corowa is they will always fight hard until the end no matter their position on the ladder.”
Albury will field one of its strongest line-ups with Brayden O’Hara, Joel Mackie, James Grills and Michael Thompson returning.
