A pair of innovators will be the only representatives from Albury at the Regional Pitchfest on Wednesday.

Andy Shuttleworth and Will Hood, who developed their 36tee app from the Possum Works Hub, will go head-to-head with other start-ups to win financial backing for their business.
It is the first time the Regional Pitch Fest has been held for the area, to be hosted in Wagga. The Albury duo were selected for the top six, beating entries from Deniliquin, Junee, Cootamundra and Henty.
Wagga entries make up the other five which made it through to the final.
Mr Shuttleworth said they had created a virtual version of destination golf courses, to give players an edge.
“Golfers can view the course online before hand and also while they are on the course through the tap and tee system, which is a world first,” he said.
“Tags with a QR reader (or barcode) are set up at each tee and golfers can scan the code to view a short 20 second video of what's ahead and how to best tackle that hole.
“We had a sports scientist come in and assess it, he came to the conclusion that it would save the average golfer fice shots a round - which is a lot.
“We've had 15,000 video plays since it was delivered to golf courses in March.”
The app is being used by five golf clubs on nine different courses. The pair hoped to reach 100 courses within the first 18 months.
Mr Hood said they had already learned a lot from the pitching competition.
“It's been great for us as a start-up and there has been some great mentoring,” he said.
“They are trying to get people with new innovative ideas on a platform where the public can see it - it's a great building tool.
“It made us look at how we pitch the product to people.”
All six innovators will present their final pitch at 7pm Wednesday at the Wagga Civic Theater.
Event organiser Dianna Somerville said the diversity of ideas was “amazing”.
“I brought the event here because I was frustrated there was nothing in regional areas to provide a platform for people to take their ideas to the next level,” she said.
“It's to support and encourage people to get out there and create something.”
The winning entry will receive $5000, second place and people's choice award winners will receive $2500 each.
