Myles joined the newly-merged entity from Lavington this year and has the Giants sitting just outside the top six after 11 rounds.
“I have enjoyed my first year at the club and I’m glad the club has shown faith in me,” Aalbers said.
“It’s a young side and I think the future looks bright.
“Hopefully we can pick up one or two recruits to help the kids along.
“At the moment though we’re not looking any further ahead than Henty on Saturday because it’s a really big match.”
Aalbers has made a big impact in attack for the Giants, kicking 29 goals as well as spending time in the midfield.
His form has been even more important considering the club lost key forward Josh Morris to injury early in the season.
Rand-Walbundrie-Walla and Henty do battle at Henty on Saturday.
Both teams are locked on four wins.
