King Cobras, Tassie and rapalas are all catching fish and those trolling fenders and worms are doing well too.

Lake Hume: well, it depends on who you talk to as to whether it is fruitful.

There’s still the odd good trout coming in but there’s still a lot of trout trollers missing out.

On the redfin front, Hayden Burles proved the six decent reddies he caught on yabbies the week before weren’t a fluke by nailing 13 nice reddies and two yellas on Monday.

The two biggest reddies were 42 centimetres and 43 centimetres. 

Some were caught on yabbs this time with the balance nailed jagging.

Proof to all of us that they still exist.

Murray River: above Lake Hume has produced a couple of nice cod on bait this week.

Below Hume, around Albury, there has been a couple of trout caught on worms off the gravel bars and there is still plenty of crays from Albury down.

Blowring: is producing a few cod again but you’ve got to be willing to put up with the cold.

Steve McPherson and a mate nailed three last Saturday morning from around 650mm to 820mm I think he said.

Snowy lakes: have been okay without being brilliant.
