Re-elected Indi MP Cathy McGowan and Liberal Sophie Mirabella both sent postal voting forms to Indi residents.
But it was the independent who won 53.81 per cent of the 2925 postal votes counted.
The swing to Ms McGowan in those votes on a two-candidate preferred basis was smaller than the overall tally, where she had attracted 54.61 with a swing of 4.46 per cent.
Farrer MP Sussan Ley could add postal votes to the list of booths she had already won as a clean sweep across the electorate.
Her total of 76.87 per cent was even larger than the already comfortable 70.49 per cent overall majority.
Some 657 postal voters put down their support for Labor’s Christian Kunde, despite him pulling out.
