The home side were competitive throughout, but couldn't find a way to work their way back into the game in the 97-79 loss to the Chargers.
Kathleen Scheer (35 points, 14 rebounds) and Chelsie Schweers (38 points) dominated for the visitors.
Rebecca Guglielmino's fast start kept the Lady Bandits in it at the half, but she was only able to add two points to her 15-point tally at the main break in the second half.
Haylee Lepaio (16 points, five rebounds) and Alex Ciabatonni (17 and six) worked themselves into the game well, but the home side were never able to put the brakes on the Chargers’ star duo.
The Lady Bandits will head to Canberra next week and attempt to square the ledger against the Capitals, who claimed an overtime win when the sides last met.
