The Lady Bandits hit the road to take on Canberra on Saturday.
The Capitals hit four threes from five attempts in overtime to steal a win when they visited Albury in round 12.
Wilson said the side was determined to square the ledger this weekend.
“This week we’ve focused solely on defensive intensity,” he said.
“That part of our game has been a bit ordinary in the last few weeks, we’ve been giving up far too many points.”
If the Lady Bandits are able to establish themselves in the paint, the likes of Haylee Lepaio and Molly Lewis should trouble the Capitals with their strength inside.
That will be dependent on in-form guards Rebecca Guglielmino and Steph Gorman’s defence at the other end, while Alex Ciabatonni will need to keep up her accurate shooting game.
