The wild weather that saw parks turn to swimming pools in Wodonga on Friday could return on Monday evening with the Bureau of Meteorology issuing a warning for strong winds.

Senior forecaster Beren Bradshaw said another 20 to 25 mm was possible for the region by Tuesday.
“We’re expecting mainly above 10mm for most of the North East region,” she said.
“From Monday evening we are expecting damaging wind gusts, particularly in the Alpine areas.”
Ms Bradshaw said Mount Hotham received the highest rainfall of 114 mm across Victoria over the weekend.
The highest daily rainfall since the beginning of May was recorded at Albury and Wodonga on Saturday, receiving 24.2 mm and 28.4 mm respectively.
Numerous flood warnings were issued including for the The Kiewa River and Tallangatta Creek and the Great Alpine Road was closed in Wangaratta due to flooding.
Falls Creek had one of its coldest days yet on Sunday at minus 6 degrees, with 30 cm of new snow forecast.
