St Matthew's Anglican priest Peter MacLeod-Miller is hosting the forum at his church from 12.30pm.
He said speakers would address the division which has greeted the construction of a mosque in Bendigo and how that may be avoided if a planned Islamic place of worship is built at Lavington.
"We would like it to be looked at something the community is building and we would like to assist them, just as the Catholic church assisted us when we burnt down," Father MacLeod-Miller said.
He said he had not had universal support with other Christian leaders telling him interfaith dealings would compromise their faith.
Speakers on Monday will include Jewish board of deputies member Jeremy Jones and ABC radio and television religion show producer Noel Debien.
