Police arrested the men following a spate of vehicle thefts over two months targeting white Toyota HiLuxes.
Two HiLuxes were stolen in Wangaratta, one stolen in Yarrawonga and a fourth vehicle became bogged while it was being driven away at Peechelba.
Police raided a Bundalong South home on Monday and found some car parts, but the vehicles had already been sold in Melbourne.
Both men have been charged and bailed and will go to court in November.
Senior Constable Florent Chargelegue said in all thefts, the cars had been unlocked with keys in the ignition.
“It reiterates the need for people to lock their vehicles, even if they’re just leaving them for a short period of time,” he said.
“We found some parts of the cars which were still at the Bundalong premises.
“Only white Toyota HiLuxes were being targeted.”
Senior Constable Chargelegue said people could be fined for not locking their cars.
The men have been charged with offences including car theft.
