Dartmouth – while it was wet and miserable, we actually had a couple of positive reports. The first bloke I spoke to picked up three brownies for the morning session, all on yellow-winged king cobras in the ramp area. The second fella worked the bank to the left of the ramp and just around into the Dart arm, mainly to get away from the wind. He ended up with four nice browns, the biggest being 1.3 kg.

Lake Hume – there was mixed success, but you’d have a hard time convincing young Zye French it wasn’t a fantastic weekend! He landed a trout that was about half as tall as himself on a kid’s combo and a pink wigston. The trout ended up being 60cm, so it was a great effort.
Blowering – is still producing big cod both on lure and bait.
Eucumbene – was ugly last weekend, but it didn’t stop Kane Puncher, Ryan and Lochie O’Keefe and Dale Gillespie. Rain, snow and gale force winds kept them off the water for all but six hours, but they managed a few good fish in that time.
