The duo are copying the successful playbook from the 2012 election when they were the only ticket to get two councillors elected onto council.
Cr Glachan and Cr Docksey have been joined by businesswoman Vicki Gray who stood as No.2 on the Gould ticket four years ago.
Ms Gray narrowly missed being elected to the nine-member council.
Cr Glachan has been on council since 2004 and is the joint longest-serving city councillor with present mayor Henk van de Ven following the retirement earlier this year of Cr Gould.
Cr Docksey was elected to the council for the first time in 2012.
"We've got a very solid team,” he said.
“Alice has got a lot of experience and I really enjoy that mix.
"There are a number of challenges ahead that I would like to be part of.”
The other ticket members are former pool manager Jennifer Mamouney and Cr Glachan’s sister, Ann Mitchell.
Cr Glachan said the new council had to rise above recent negativity from other councillors including the mayor about the city missing out on state government funding for major projects including Murray Art Museum Albury.
"I find it somewhat disappointing and distracting we regretfully have negative influences over the things we are trying to achieve,” she said.
"It is primarily brought on by us as councillors.
"We need to ensure we are very positive in the way we approach council and work with our community.”
