Two Carlton Draught stubbies were found near the scene of the smash on a Les Stone Park walking path on February 13, along with injured rider Jarred Richard Kennedy.
The 31-year-old had been drinking during the day before deciding to ride home on an unregistered yellow Kawasaki motorcycle with no number plates.
He clipped a tree while riding in the dark, which caused him to fall off the bike.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 11.50pm and Kennedy returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.130 about 1 ½ hours later.
He was banned from holding a licence for 13 months and fined $500 in the Wodonga Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
