Graham Potter, 58, has been named among the 19 most wanted fugitives in Australia as part of Crime Stoppers’ Operation Roam.
He evaded capture for more than six years by changing appearance, using aliases such as Peter Anderson and Josh Lawson, and moving interstate multiple times.
The fugitive served 15 years for the dismemberment murder of a 19-year-old NSW girl and is wanted on federal charges over a $440 million ecstasy and cocaine haul.
Potter fled Melbourne while on bail for conspiracy to murder charges at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on February 1, 2010.
While he was last seen in the Tully area of Queensland, he had been known to spend time in Riverina.
