With Shannon and Pani playing first grade and league tag for Albury Thunder, rugby league is generally the first dish on the menu.
“I tell her what she does right and wrong but she’s pretty clued up,” Rupapere said.
“She tells me what to do as well.
“She’s good.
“The kids love going to the games and we love it here.”
Rupapere has been in fine form at five-eighth while Pani is enjoying her return to league at hooker after being sidelined with a hip injury.
They will play in finals at Greenfield Park and Gundagai this weekend.
Rupapere believes self-belief is the key to Albury Thunder defeating Young in Saturday’s elimination final.
“I think the boys realise we have a team that can do it,” he said.
“We have worked hard for each other and believed in each other.”
