Brown’s wine lists compiled for The Terrace at All Saints at Wahgunyah and Thousand Pound at Rutherglen received Glass-Rated status in Gourmet Traveller Wine Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards 2016.
All Saints Estate chief executive Eliza Brown said the awards recognised Nick’s philosophy to support family-owned wineries.
She said wine bar and store Thousand Pound’s wine list had 140 wines, mostly produced on family operated wineries.
“It’s only been open 18 months and it’s the second award,” she said.
The Terrace at All Saints was named in Gourmet Traveller’s Top 10 regional Victorian restaurants in 2016.
Beechworth restaurant Provenance was also named in the Top 10 regional Victorian listing and its wine list gained Glass-Rated status.
Bright’s Tani Eat & Drink scored Glass-Rated too.
