The bulk of discussions on behalf of councils will be done by the general managers.
Council elections will be held on September 10 with the caretaker period already started.
Greater Hume mayor Heather Wilton confirmed she and deputy mayor Doug Meyer would be meeting Ms Berijiklian for morning tea only in Holbrook.
But Ms Berijiklian was scheduled to meet with Greater Hume Shire general manager Steve Pinnuck and Federation Council general manager Chris Gillard before travelling to Albury where she will meet with senior staff.
Thirty minutes has been set aside for a catch-up with Albury councillors.
The treasurer will spend Monday morning in Wagga including a $50 per head Liberal Party fundraiser breakfast.
A $100 per head lunchtime party fundraiser is also being held in Albury.
The Border Mail has obtained a letter written by mayor Henk van de Ven in response to Albury MLA Greg Aplin's letter laying blame on council for failed funding submissions.
"Council is proud of its commitment to and investment in its existing asset base and the development of new facilities and infrastructure required to meet the growing needs of our community," Cr van de Ven wrote.
"What we are seeking from you as our local member of parliament and from the NSW State Government is a joint approach to the development of regional infrastructure that services demand from well beyond our LGA boundaries."
Ms Berijiklian said she was looking forward to visiting Albury.
“This will be a great opportunity to hear from the local community about opportunities for further growth in this important region.”
