A Telstra and Swinburne University report revealed the score of 43.8 was only higher than NSW’s Hunter region, which had the country’s lowest score of 41.2.
Indi MP Cathy McGowan said the report showed more work had to be done to improve mobile black spots in country areas.
“People with disability and people not in paid employment are the greatest impacted by this … it’s not good enough,” she said.
