Artisan cheesemaker Melissa Jacka, from Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and Farm Foods at Tarrawingee, will host the first of two workshops on the art and science of cheese-making on October 7.
Participants will learn how to make fresh cheese at home using simple equipment and ingredients from their pantry as part of the Lost Arts Series class.
They will taste Tolpuddle goat cheeses matched with gourmet condiments.
The workshop will be held from 10am until noon at The Hive Kitchen at Beechworth Honey. The fee includes equipment, ingredients, notes, recipes and fresh ricotta to take home.
Ms Jacka will host the second workshop at the same venue on November 26 from 10am until noon.
