She is a former president of the Wodonga Chamber of Commerce and is presently on the Albury Wodonga Health board of directors.
TAFE chief executive Mark Dixon has also been elevated to the board which also includes a staff representative, Janelle Cretney.
A spill of all TAFE boards was ordered by the Victorian government with replacement board members announced this month.
A further ministerial appointment and three co-opted board members are still to be announced.
“We’ve got the makings of a really good board coupled with a good leadership team,” Ms Jenvey said.
The ATS Partners accountant and director replaces Ulf Ericson as chair.
Other ministerial appointments to the Wodonga TAFE board are former Wangaratta councillor and high-profile Voices for Indi identity Tammy Atkins, Jessica Furst and Annette Kearns.
Ms Atkins was a member of the sacked Wangaratta Council in 2013 and hasn't ruled out standing again in October.
She didn't return calls for comment to The Border Mail on Tuesday.
Other members of Voices for Indi have formed the Good Council Group in the build-up to the election.
Forums will use the Voices for Indi style of kitchen table conversations where people in groups of about 10 will have their opinions recorded.
Victorian Training and Skills Minister Steve Herbert's decision to allow TAFE boards to appoint chairs before the appointment of co-opted board members has been criticised by the Opposition's Steph Ryan.
“The Andrews government must guarantee to the public proper process was followed and these boards will not be another political puppet beholden to Daniel Andrews' petulant demands,” Ms Ryan said.
Mr Herbert said amended legislation was followed correctly.
