The ACO Collective will perform Beethoven and Mendelssohn at Albury Entertainment Centre at 7.30pm.
“There are huge advantages with directing as a quartet, compared to one violinist directing,” Meta4 viola player Antti Tikkanen said.
“Our ‘four-headed-monster’ can take care of various instrument groups and aspects simultaneously; we can cover all functions of the score.
“The chamber music feeling and quality of the process and performance is something most musicians have been excited about.”
The program features works by Webern, Jaakko Kuusisto, Mendelssohn, Sculthorpe and Beethoven.
