Participants including this year's Hall of Famers, Jon Henry, Paul Bartlett, Jack O'Halloran and Simon Bone, Albury-Wodonga Junior Football League premier teams, St Patrick's, Lavington and Yarrawonga and grand final guest, Collingwood star Jack Crisp were still presented to the crowd, but not in the motorcade around the ground.

Grand final day for Henry began with his daughter Ella playing in the Wangaratta Magpies' premiership winning under 16 and under team against Wodonga Raiders.

Another Hall of Fame inductee Tracy Gillies elected to watch her club, Yarrawonga, win another A grade netball premiership along with a B grade flag.

Gillies' legacy lives on with the Pigeons winning their sixth flag since 2009 and Hannah Symes taking out the Toni Wilson medal.
