Albury United's Ben Smith and Albury City's Isaac Hovar both impressed during state trials following strong performances for the Riverina and AWFA representative sides.
The boys’ representative coach, Boomers FC's Andrew Grove, said both were promising future prospects.
“Ben is a pretty natural number nine who can hold up the ball and has a really nice shot,” Grove said.
“His goal this year was to make the state team, so I'm really happy for him.
“Isaac has been one of the top players in the area for a long time as a winger.
“He's had a tough year with injuries, but this is a great way for him to get something out of his year.”
