THE sun may only have peeked out from under the cover of clouds to start the spring season, but Albury Little Athletics have their fingers crossed the warmer weather will hang around for Saturday's registration day.

Registrations for the net season of Little Aths open at the Albury Athletics centre from nine o’clock on Saturday morning, and will run through to midday.

Committee member Carolyn McCowan said the program was the perfect way for kids to stay active.

“The program is there to promote family, fun and fitness – it’s an excellent way to start an athletic career,” she said.

“We focus on helping the kids achieve personal bests.
