The 15-year-old played teacher for young visitors as part of Gateway Village’s open day, featuring HotHouse workshops, GIGS Gallery displays and markets.
Jack busks at the farmer’s markets there every fortnight and all proceeds go to his primary pastime – aviation.
“People chat to me while I’m playing and I tell them I’m a student pilot and it’s an expensive hobby,” he said.
“Gateway Island is very much a hub for art in the region – people know there is a butter factory theatre, but many don’t know there’s several galleries and an art and music school,” he said.
“It shows Albury-Wodonga is not just a country town, it can turn out some great people in the arts.”
